In today's world where new technologies affect all areas of life, competition is intensified, channels are diversified and proliferated, it requires effective communication skills to attract the attention of consumers and all other stakeholders for commercial and social institutions. In parallel, the need for a competent and professional workforce in the advertising and public relations sectors and in other areas of communication is increasing.
Iğdır University, School of Applied Sciences, Department of Public Relations and Advertising provides students with an up-to-date education based on the basic principles of communication, masters the concepts and theories of communication, publicity, advertising, marketing, public relations and uses new communication technologies strategically aims to educate students with the ability to put into practice through communication work. The aim of the program is to train communicators who are educated in the field of publicity, advertising and public relations, who are strategically thinking, knowledgeable, innovative, prone to teamwork and advanced foreign language skills, which will be successful in local and global markets in increasing global competition.
