Social service; It is a unique discipline field where health and social sciences have the opportunity to work together, accepting that every person is inherently valuable, ensuring safety and development without harming human dignity, and promoting egalitarian social structures.

Social Work raises individuals who will provide or lead to service in the light of these focuses, focusing on the principles of social justice, social and common responsibility, ethics and respect that concern individuals and society.

Purpose; It is creating social changes in both individual development and society in general. At the micro, meso and macro level, people (Urban, Peasant, Poor, Rich, Civil Servants, etc.), children, Women, Disadvantaged Groups, Prisoners and Convicts, Refugees, Patients, Elderly, Young, Workers, Families constitute the work area. Our department takes all these definitions, principles and goals into consideration in the education it provides to its students.

Individuals who have successfully completed their undergraduate education in Social Work, who are entitled to the title of "Social Worker / Social Worker". These persons are the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the social service department or related departments of universities, public and private organizations, local administrations and affiliated units, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, etc. They can continue their working life in the fields.

Our department has started student admissions as of the 2019-2018 academic year.
